the title is a joke in burgundy there is only wine
pics stolen from hallmark site
i am hesitate beetween 59 model
and the 60
this one is really beautifull
for the body i have a basswood blank (ithis blank may be first a télé, after a mustang an then now it will be a mosrite i hope)
need to glue an hear cause it is little short in larger
i have find this pdf for a mosrite is it the same size than the one i want ? (with the slanted pick up)
it have a thickness of 45 mm at this time, but it will be less after some planing cause i have suck when i glue it! my clamps have made one part go a 1 mm highter than the other but on the topic for made a clone the thickness is 1 5/8 inch then in metrics it is 42mm
for the neck
i have some rosewood for the fretboard
and some mapple to make the neck but i haven't big blank like EFElliott use to make one piece ,my thickest is 35mm or 1, 37 inch then i think i will have to glue a headstock after a 7° cut or do a laminated
for the heel if i made a screweed neck it will be ok but if i want to glue it i will need to glue another piece of wood to have the mosrite tenon
for the nut i have seen in the topic of EFElliott the 0 fret and the nut fret it is really good idea and so easy ,and it will avoid to find a rare part i think
for the pups i don't know what to put ? i have time for that before i must find the more harder the trem hope my friend will be ok to make 2 one for him and one for me

The answer to this question is no. That pdf was made by none other than forum member Bushers, he used his Mosrite MK5 to create it. I have a set of templates of a MK1 (style pictured above) I maybe able to trace and send to you.

Re: style" mosrite of burgundya"
thanks KRamone27
this week i will try to put this pics in inkscape to make a plan
with the information on the thread to make clone i found some mesurements
but i don't find the lenght of the head ?
and i must go to laminated neck cause my wood aren't thick for one piece ,i have seen a venture model with a laminated at fretted americana http://www.frettedamericana.com/details ... &counter=7
for sure it will be more easy if i ever seen one and note all the needed to
on this
4. Neck volute thickness at the headstock is 1 3/8", referring to the area at the nut guide (side view).
with the thickness of fretboard or not ?
cause in fact it is really thick

Maybe Danny will chime in as he's the one who had the guitar these measurements came from but I think the measurements includes the fretboard.

Re: style" mosrite of burgundya"
i find the mesurement of the base plate ,i will do a plan (in paper cause i am not good with computer)
but i need some other mesurements
can some one help me
need the high of the rocking part under the plate where the arm is fix H1
the hight of the axis between under the plate where the arm is fix H2 and the center of axis
and the offset between the the plate were the strings are fix and the center of the fixation of the arm L1
the all rest of the mesurement i will try to have with pics (more of them are just to make it nice and there not very crucial

Re: style" mosrite of burgundya"
ludobag, are you planning to cast the plate and rocker out of aluminum?
I've got a Moseley vibrato that I could make a drawing, I wouldn't know where to begin making a drawing using a computer. I would have to make a hand drawing with the measurements, photograph it and save it to Photobucket then display it here on the forum. It will be a process I could do when I have some extra time if no one else here on the forum can help you sooner.
