Hallmark Custom 60 with special finish

Postby intensejim » Mon Mar 21, 2011 11:43 am

I posted my little intro in another thread.

I've always been intrigued my Mosrites but being a hard rock player I never gravitated to them until I finally played a Hallmark at NAMM this winter. I was smitten and order one in a custom color from
Bob Shade. The guitar freakin' rawks and Bob was so easy to deal and whipped out this axe promptly. The action, fit and finish, pickups, pots...what a bargain for this level of service, playability and tone!

My photos are too large so here are links...

Me like.

How much did Bob upcharge for the custom finish? If you don't mind me asking.

Been thinking about getting another 60's Custom but with Humbuckers

Hey all!

This finish turned out really cool. It is hard to get it from the photo's but it is gloss black with tiny flecks of silver that look like diamonds dancing in the light. It is a "House of Color" paint finish combo. Anyone who knows car paint knows that HOC is amoung the best. This is what he wanted and it really looks great in person. I am nudging for a video clip. Got to hear this through the Soldano amp! Yea!

We enjoy the custom finished models so if anyone has a special finish they want, just shoot us an e-mail. We are happy to help.

Bob

This guitar still as is a blast to play. My band does originals and cover, funk and rock, from Beatles to Billy Idol to Iggy Pop to Foot Fighter, etc. I'm reallllllllllllly enjoying it! And crazy bang for the buck.
