New Guy from Green Bay,WI

Postby TechWriter » Thu Apr 22, 2010 5:16 am

Just dug out the Mosrite I bought when I was a teenager -- MANY moons ago.

The serial # is 0200 & it looks exactly like the one at the top of the Mosrite Forum page.

I wish. During my stint with it, it mostly saw action in basements and Catholic CYO dances. Besides that, it's been idle since the 70s.

I'm thinking about taking it to the Chicago Music Exchange for cleaning up, etc. What do you think?

Bingo.

After I heard their 45 release "10 Seconds to Heaven" & "Bird Rockers" ('65 ?), I was smitten. Instant Nokie fan.

Bought every album, including their play-along one -- actually it was pretty good stuff for a know nothing.

Anyway, the guitar is WAY BEYOND the capabilities of this boy.

I'll be happy to take it off your hands if it is a burden to you TW, LOL ...just kidding. (would love to own it though!). When I myself listen to Nokie play -the way he does, I often tend to think: "what am I doing with a guitar???". Anyway, I do enjoy learning to play different tunes all the time...my style
BTW, I have never owned a Mosrite and one day I shall have one, for sure. You did well to buy yours when you did ;)
