FORGET ABOUT MOSRITES!!

 J/K, OK, Now that I got everyone's attention, what does everyone do when we
are not thinking, breathing, eating, living Mosrites? All right, well, you know what
I mean! Another words, for entertainment (come on, you know! Movies, Dining, etc.),
Hobbies, and also Sports (indoor and/or outdoor), etc, etc, etc. Is anyone involved in
some kind of Club, etc etc? All right, I think everyone gets the idea..........
Who wants to be Brave-and want to go First?
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

FORGET ABOUT MOSRITE!!! I don't think so!

Well, let's see,

Out side a life time interest of playing music, I build, set up, repair and refinish guitars. I've built a few electronic projects and I do gunsmith work for the members of our local Old Western Enthusiast 'shooting and primitive camping' club. I collect antique firearms i.e; Winchester rifle, Colt and S&W revolvers from the 1800's.

In the past I was involved in motorcycles (Harley's) mainly doing custom paint jobs. For about 10 years I was big into building and flying radio controlled model airplanes. I also do some leather work.

I guess I'd better stop and take a breath and not bore everyone with the multitude of hobbies and interest I'm either doing now, or have been involved in. I don't know how I ever found time to work for a living.

OK,
I have unfortunately developed in my lifetime, 3 VERY BAD Addictions, in which I'm told
that if it is not properly treated soon, I might get to the point of no return........in which
they have told me that there is no cure.................my 3 dangerous addictions...........
1) Sailing- We are on a BIG lake, and every chance I get, I'm out on the boat. There's
something to be said, about moving along in a boat, with no powered engine
2) Cars- I'm a sucker for Vehicles. There's a place in Ft Lauderdale that every Friday, you
have a meeting of 600 plus cars that get together. It's made up of different clubs, different
era cars, 50's, 60's, 70's, etc. Then you have the Vette Club, the GTOs, T-Birds, etc. etc.
And best of all, it's patrolled by the Police, which BTW, have one of THEIR MUSTANGS there
every FRI for the kids to see. It is "Tricked out" and has the "Kids Against Drugs" Logo on it.
The Wife and I have a 1966 T-Bird Sports Roadster, 3 Mitsubishi 3000 GTs, one of them being
a VR-4, which is All Wheel Drive, All Wheel Steering, Twin Turbo, etc.

Active Aero Wing, All Claw Steering, All Claw Drive, Slo as heck Tho......
Image
Well anyways, I never did seek help......but I'm happy!

3) Guitars- I've been collecting guitars since 1986, and yes, I've sold a few that I regret now.
This is also one of my incomes. I buy and sell Vintage Guitars, but I do it on a Local Basis,
therefore bypassing all the garbage that goes with that kind of business. But that's not what this
thread is about, so we'll just leave it at Collecting....

Well, besides playing the guitar and drooling over Fender / Mosrite guitar porn, I enjoy reading, watching movies (classics, european, B movies, trash movies), learning other languages and occasionally cooking simple yet fullfilling dishes. I´m not really into sports expect for martial arts, but bad joints and lack of spare time have prevented me from taking any part into that for a few years now.

I enjoy all aspects of carpentry, I'm a member of Carpenters union local 638 in Marion, IL and work for a company that speciallizes in comercial and farm building construction. I love guitars as well as building, repairing them. I'm also into cars as well but don't have any tricked out rides. I'm also a big movie watcher mostly those directed by robert rodrigez, quintin tarrintino and so on, rob zombie films are great too. And I'm also into great food and good people and great times.
