What is known of the Moseley Sooner
Just bought 2 unfinished bodies and necks
Would love to know a bit more about them

You have necks ? I read a few years ago that there was a brass rod in the middle of the neck, is it real ? And what is it supposed to be useful for ?

Nice guitar eltuce do you know what the pick ups are ?
Haydden I think it is the Brass Rail that you are thinking of of the two necks I have one looks like it is for a standard Truss Rod ie under the fret board which is already laid but no radius or frets as yet the other has a rout like a fender with a skunk strip but happy to be corrected as I am only assuming
Dubtrub that is the one that started me looking unfortunately I missed out on the Unlaminated body both mine are veneered

Yep Scoot, I talked about that brass rail. I've seen it on a pic today, I was wondering if it was just aesthetic or if there's a technical reason for it.

Mine are not brass rails but I think the idea behind them was for sustain ,but they were just too expensive to produce
