1967 Mosrite Avenger all original, have a few questions
So I have a 1967 (so research suggests) Mosrite Avenger, the body is a dark transparent walnut stain, the neck is pretty fat, it's in mint condition minus a little cosmetic headstock repair, is a really cool guitar. I wanted to ask the forum though, do you think the value would be equal to suggest a trade of my Avenger for a Hallmark 60? Do you think people might go for that? Perhaps a Mosrite Combo, I see the model 1 in just regular Candy Red or Sunburst going for 750 to 1100 all the time. Let me know what you guys think

Nothing? I'm not asking for offers, I'm just asking if you think the value is equal to suggest that. It's a Ventures Mark 1 copy in excellent shape. Any opinions would be great

IMHO, as an owner of both, I would sy "No" to a straight up trade. The C60 is a better guitar.

Well then, what would be the value of this guitar in a selling situation? I'm trying to save up for a Rickenbacker 330 or 360 and since these are never available I don't know what they're worth in all honesty

This one was listed in our forum Classified section a few years ago. Might give you an idea.

Thanks, mine has the complete tremolo, upgraded tuners (vintage Klusons), actual Vtg Mosrite knobs, and a lot of other actual mosrite parts I was given as well, with a hardshell, I don't think that 850 or 900 would be out of order to ask for

Was in at Tym guitars the other day and he had a avenger for 1500 aud so don't think you are too far off with 850 is but that is my very limited opinion I would not base a sale or purchase on it

Does Tym still have a website for all of his Mosrites? I haven't seen it in years.

Seems like they have been selling for less than $800 on eBay and similar sites. There is one for $850 OBO on eBay now with no offers. I thought about shooting a lowball offer but I heard the quality can be spotty and figured it wasn't worth the hassle.

Still some info on Tyms website but nothing like I think it must have been based on what you find in google searches
