Yeah, sorry I don't have more info, but think you can get in just by walking in off the street. Certainly worth the visit, you never know what might be hanging on the wall!

I am really looking forward to going. A post visit update (with pictures of my new guitar, hopefully) will follow when I return.

They say they will reveal their address when you make your appointment, and deposit... On further reading, they came right out and "discouraged" lookey-loo's, as in if you're not serious, stay away... The website seemed to be updated, so, I guess they only want paying customers! I think Ed hired like-spirits to run his operation!

I read that stuff too. It's a good thing I'm going in there with the intent of finding a Mosrite to buy. Been saving for awhile. That said, they can't force you to buy anything. But I can't wait to see what they have. Should be cool.

well if you're in Vegas It's a 5 hour drive to Bakersfield, where you can look, play mosrite guitars, and even buy them. I've got four or five mk5 in stock! you may even get to meet Dana Moseley, she does the pickups and assembly, here in Bakersfield. If we don't have the color or model in stock,we will special order it for you!
The main thing you gotta remember is that were closed Sun. and Mon.unless we make an appointment, and that is FREE!

Thank you Artie. I will definitely keep you guys in mind. We have a rental car and if it doesn't work out @ Ed Roman, we'll probably be stopping by. Thanks again for reaching out!

Franco,
It's a long drive from Vegas to Bakersfield, but Artie's store is the closest you'll come to a Mosrite shrine. He's got dozens and dozens of vintage Mosrites on display in addition to the current Fillmore lineup for sale. Definitely consider the trip.

It has been decided...we are making the drive on Saturday. I didn't see the hours on the Front Porch website, maybe Artie can let me know.
Very very excited!

Sounds like a pilgrimage to Mosrite Mecca if there ever was one - a trip that I also intend to make soon as my wife has a quilt show in Bakersfield she wants to attend. -Marty

It's about a five hour drive from Las Vegas to Bakersfield but worth it, plus Artie "takes care' of forum members. Front Porch Music opens at 11:AM and I think it closes around 6:PM, may be open later on Saturday. I'd be sure and call Artie and let him know the approximate time of your arrival.
