Re: The Ramones?
Oh yeah I love the Ramones big time.
They are the band who inspired me to start my own punk band back in 1976 .We were called Rocks and were one of Australia's first Punk bands ( if not the first) and our first recording (You'r So Boring) was one of the first punk records to come out of Australia. I wish I had a few left because while the scene was small back then and we didn't sell many, it has become a collectible fetching big bucks.
Our music was and still is very Ramones inspired and my Mosrite education began when I saw that weird guitar Johnny used to play. The more I found out about it the more I was hooked and my quest for all things Mosrite began in earnest with me eventually getting a Japanese JR Mosrite.
As sculpting is one of my hobbies, I make Ramones figurines and model kits as a tribute to this great band.
I'm always willing to talk about the Ramones so anyone interested just give a me a call.

Re: The Ramones?
heck the Ramones pretty much taught me how to play guitar in the first place. I was 12 years old living in Canada and didn't have anything better to do than shovel driveways for cash just so I could buy a guitar to learn Ramones songs. The Ramones will allways be my favorate band.

Re: The Ramones?
Hey Mosman, that's pretty darn kewl!! How hard is it to make just the guitar itself, or I guess what I'm leading up to, did you ever think about making the guitars alone, and selling them on E-Bay? Every once in a while, I see some one (company?) pop on E-Bay and sell the Johnny Ramone Model with it's own guitar stand. I also believe it's the same guy (company) that sells the Sunburst Ventures Model as a Kurt Cobain Model with stand as well.....
