But my wife and I are throwing the idea around about building guitar parts. Specifically Mosrite bodies and necks and telecaster style bodies. What I'm wondering is would there be enough forum interest for a limited production run of Mosrite style bodies? I have built one before with great success. Thanks for all input, Kevin

Kevin, I think it really depends on the cost and features, I suppose. I've thought about having a solid body as I do not currently own one. Food for thought!

Well the material used and hand work involved will ultimately determine the cost of the body. I can build these bodies with or with out the german carve. The body with out the carve will be cheaper and rout for just about any pickup or control configuration.

Me and the wife decided to take a chance at it. We got a facebook page which will also display her artwork as well. If there is anyone that wants order one let me know. I'll have four Mosrite style bodies total and 2 tele style available next week if everything goes alright.

Then you my friend are about an hour and 45 minutes away from me. Carterville is right in between Carbondale and Marion I could drive to Southern Illinois University in about 10 minutes.

Here's what they look like. Hopefully you can find templates to use somehow. These unique guitars and basses deserve the treatment you're providing as they can only be had on the used market at exhorbitant rates. See what you can do, it will be worth your while.
