Aaron, the only progress I've been able to make is routing for the humbucker. I managed to score one on feebay for 50 bux in ex condition. Then everything else I bought through guitar parts resource. It's not going to have a finish or decal on the neck for a while as I have to get some more funds. As soon as I get the stuff together I'll post some pics.

Re: Tom DeLonge strat project.
Here we go, starting to look like a guitar. The neck is an Allparts 21 fret neck with Wilkinson Deluxe vintage style tuners and while installing them a screw broke off in the headstock but I think it'll stay in place. I also have a slotted bone nut that I ordered but have to thin the side because it's too wide for the nut slot and the slot is radiused so I need to radius the bottom of the nut as well.

If it's free I'll let you do it right now.

Looks pretty good mate, keep up the good work!
What's that Allparts neck like, how would you describe the profile?

Wombat, I bought a used Seymour Duncan Invader on ebay that I'm using for this and I'm going to wire the volume control just like the actual Tom Delonge models with a treble bleed circuit.
RainbowNinja, the allparts neck is just like my MIM strat just with a larger headstock.

Re: Tom DeLonge strat project.
Well everything I ordered is in so now it's just a matter of wiring everything, clear coating the neck and giving it one heck of a set up. I ran into a snag while putting the radius on the bottom of the bone nut where I took off just a hair to much material so I'm trying to think of a good way to build it back up. I have some scrap rosewood that I might glue in the nut seat to build it back up then file down as needed.
