I'm so sorry to hear that. It's happening all over the place. You do seem to have your priorities in good order and hopefully that will get you through this. Good luck in any case.

Sorry to hear about the job situation. Just hang in their and have faith. As far as the Hallmark goes, they are the best value for the dollar anywhere. I have Semie made Mosrites, Dana made Mosrites, and Japanese made Mosrites. All of them are great guitars, however, my Hallmark can stand up to each them in quality, playability, and sound. I have found the sound of the Hallmark not to be as bright as the original Mosrites but this is easily corrected with the amp tone. Don't get me wrong about the sound-the sound of the Hallmark is still a great sound, it is just somewhat different than the original Mosrites.

Hang in there fishyfish, hope you still get your Hallmark one day! I enjoy playing my H60C always. Here you can hear it's sound on recent recordings (my lead parts).

My favorite Mo' sound! -both pups blasting away...just gotta dig that 'growl' , heh, heh :D

Nice youtube clips! Thanks for the post it is always nice to hear the people that play our guitars! You have a great sounding band! It is also nice to hear the Hallmark/Fender tone comparison.

Best reverbs,

Thanks for your kind comments everyone ...oh...and I'm still trying to play better all the time but then I do realise the limitations of my musical abilities too
I get a great deal of enjoyment out of trying though ...and the Hallmark has worked very inspirational for me Bob, so now my other bandmates are wanting to include more and more Ventures tunes (preferably with the Mosrite sound) in our repertoire as we proceed with our 'doings' lately ;)

Very nice sound, Paul - you guys play well together. Are you using an outboard reverb at all on those songs?
