New Hawaii-50 Theme

Postby JimPage » Sun May 23, 2010 1:54 pm

Hey--

Bound to happen, I suppose. CBS is bringing Hawaii-50 back, and has a new credits sequence with a redo of the original theme.

Here's a link that compares both:
http://nymag.com/daily/entertainment/20 ... me_lo.html

The new version theme seems bland to me, and the actors don't look old enough/mature enough to be peace officers. Probably just because I am old and I really liked the original cast-- and THEME.

there's some shows that just shouldn't be brought back to life. when they redid knight rider a few years ago it was awful. next thing we're gonna see is a remake of the love boat.....

Surfrider, No you're not...........I had a very big problem with the basic 'rhythm track' stuck in the
key of 'C' which refused to change to the next chord until it was 'forced to' by no choice near the
end of the tune.
make the Mos' of it, choose the 'rite stuff.

That already happened, it starred the late Robert Urich as Captain Stubing.

That new theme sucks sooooooooo much  It' about as bad a mess as Dick Dale did to the Peter Gunn theme!!! Of course thats my own personal opinion which may mean squat to you........Thankyou, now I'll step down from my box ;)

There is no way they can replace Jack Lord! coolest dude ever. He even made 1970 4 door Mercury Marquees look cool. Let's not forget his kicka** hair and super bad suits. This new show is going to be bad I just know it.
