Re: Mosrite Tattoo
That's interesting. It looks like it's well done.

Re: Mosrite Tattoo
Just curious - how does it work when you put someone's logo on yourself? Do they get a royalty? I always wondered how that worked with tattoo shops as they seem to have a lot of famous artwork available. Is there some sort of tattoo shop version of BMI or ASCAP?
Oy vey - it's MESHUGGA BEACH PARTY - The world's premier Jewish Surf Music Band!

What? Couldn't tell the logo is a link? So click here, what's the hold up? http://www.meshuggabeachparty.com

This is a lttle different than what I did. This tattoo artist is saying that the art he put on Becks body is his own design. My tattooist used a copywrited image.
Becks tattoo artist is dead wrong, imo. Beck paid him not only to tattoo him, but also paid for the art as well. Thats just like if I commision a piece of art, pay the artist to come up w/ the design, pay him to paint that art. It is mine 100% unless stated otherwise. If there ain't nothing in writing with that tattoo artist of Becks, then he is sol.
My tattoo, I think I read somewhere, was the idea of Arturo Vega. He suggested to use the eagle on the dollar, but use a bat instead of arrows in the eagle foot for Beat on the brat

Personally I'm not into (any kind of) tattoos but Jayson's is done very well, I must say. HD job! (Highly Defined)

Yes, think before you ink. I kinda wish I didn't have any tattoos at this point in my life, plus I don't even like anything that I got when I was 20/21-ish. I started laser removal on one a while ago, not only is it expensive but it hurts A LOT more than getting tattooed! I'm still wondering how well it even works. It was supposed to be gone in 5 or 6 treatments and it's still very visible, only now it looks like a blurry piece of garbage.

Fortunately I didn't totally overdo it, and all but one aren't very visible. Unfortunately, the most visible one is the one I probably like the least. At least they were all done very well and don't look like jailhouse tats. My girlfriend was wise, didn't get this one until after she turned 40. The little girls are all little cartoons of her.

Re: Mosrite Tattoo
As I constantly change my mind about things (music, movies, breakfast cereal, clothes etc) I would never consider getting anything as permanent as a tattoo, but I do like looking at other people's tatts though.
I know a guy who was a huge Mike Tyson fan back when Tyson was the world champ and before his career nose-dived. This bloke got a full sized tattoo of Tyson's face on his back with Tyson's name inked from one shoulder to the other.
I wonder what thinks of it now.

I can't even imagine what he must think of that. The Ramones have been my favorite band since 1982, 5th grade. They've been part of my identity my entire life. I was even contacted by a local TV station when Joey Ramones to comment on it during their story.
