Yeah I didn't mind snow until I got three and a half feet of it. All I'm hoping now is can my propane tank hold out long enough so my driveway becomes passable to get a refill. And of course right now, it's snowing.... AGAIN!!!!! They are calling for another 10-20 inches by Wednesday evening. Where's a flame thrower when you need one?

Great picture Paul! I didn't know it made news across the pond! More white crap is coming out of the sky again. I shoveled 6' more this AM. Thank God it turned to sleet and freezing rain last night and kept the totals lower. 40 MPH winds are making it a whiteout at times and they pulled the plows off the road as it is unsafe at the moment. Here are some more pix from when I finished this morning. Everything is covered as soon as you finish. I may go out for a youtube video later. Trees are coming down and roofs are collapsing. At least we have power now.

Johnny, I notice the pictures are turning out whiter and whiter in proportion to the growth of this thread!...

It's chilly here where I live (although very little snow -at the moment) with an easterly wind (i.e. very cold!) driving the chill factor up and up but I won't feel too bad now having to take the dog out for walks 3 x per day, knowing you guys have to 'enjoy' the pretty snow scenery -whether you happen to like it, or not

So if the next set of pix appear to be blancs... :?

It is near whiteout conditions here, but still got power. Here is a bit lengthy video I shot when it calmed down a bit that gives you a better idea of what it looks like. It's better to stay inside and play guitar. I have to keep going out to shovel though.

Mosrite forever!!

You guys in the NE are all over the news - Man! What I'm seeing is a disaster ... Now if I were there and independently wealthy, it would be a good time to sink into that recliner by the fireplace and immerse in old movies (guitar in hand, of course)

But DITTO on what Dennis (GattonFan) had said, I'm watching you guys on TV right this minute on the

Hey--

This has been one of the weirdest weeks I have ever endured. Our college is closed again tomorrow and I am SO sick of sitting around here I could scream.

Dennis, that Celebrity you sold me is getting some attention, that I can tell you! I love that guitar. Of course, I am not neglecting the H60C or Stradette, either!!!

Of course, the District of Columbia is totally flummoxed by all this; one-quarter of the snow trucks downtown are out of commission due to lack of maintenance, and the streets downtown are a nightmare. They are saying that it will be sometime next week before the streets are cleared and the alleys will not be touched.

Big government in (in)action.
