Aaron, believe it or not, but this thread sparked a lively discussion at our house about the "disgusting" things that can be found in food and other products that we don't even know about. Such as guanine that is a synthetic ingredient in mascara. It is derived from guano which is the fancy word for bat poop. Yay! Also, if you want to really gross out your girlfriends for wives, explain to them that the red lipstick they like so much contains "carmine" or "cochineal". Often times labeles as "natural coloring" or "natural flavoring". It's actually a crushed bug that is red and used by South American Indians for coloring. Tell me the cosmetic industry doesn't have a sense of humor! So, tell you girl she has bugs on her lips the next time she's wearing red.

lol I'll have to do that sarah. Like I mentioned before, ignorance is bliss. Now I can't kiss her with lipstick on because I'll be thinking about crushed up red bugs.

if this keep up I'll be forced to stay home and grow all my own food, hehe. Even then you still have to deal with manure. yuck!!!

Just don't turn into Howard Hughes! Speaking of poop, I'm sure most folks know that American Indians used to burn Buffalo dung/chips for fire fuel. I thad no odor and burned just great. There is something very different with Buffalo stomachs versus cows or other bovines. Anyway, Buffalo dung has no odor and when things got really bad they ate it.

I belive there is a coffee bean that is eaten I think by some sort of a cat. After the bean has gone through the cats system it is seperated from the poo ,roasted and ground for coffee. I guess without that process it dosen't tast the same....ya think!! Very costly coffee..................hello Dunkin Donuts....!
