New Mosrite-ish?
Saw this on TV today and found it quite retro-kinda refreshing. I hear a Millie Scott ("My Boy Lollipop"), Diana Ross and even Amy Winehouse -all rolled up in one singer …and herself too of course...
... here it is on YouTube.

Re: New Mosrite-ish?
This song gets my vote as best darn pop song in a million years. Do a youtube search for them playing it live on Letterman a couple weeks ago, like any great song, it's better live. Some of the "live" versions of this song out there are vocal only, the Letterman show was all live. And the DiPinto looks almost as good as the singer!

Excellent bit of nicely done pop. 'Agree the singer's do is really hip.
The guitar picker should have used a real Mosrite...anybody played a DiPinto? Observations?

I've played one at a guitar show, I think they're very cool. Los Straitjackets use them live and they have one of the best live sounds I've ever heard. I believe they use silverface vibro-verbs, not sure. But they have excellent tone. Very cool guitars with a mosrite vibe in the looks department.

I saw one in a shop and while I didn't try it out, it felt good to hold and sure had a lot going on visually. Anyone who thinks a Mosrite is 'quirky' would have a hard time accepting a DiPinto.
