I wish I could read the rest of the questions/answers but it seems you have to be registered? Interesting stuff never the less. My MIJ Mosrite is I think a 70's era Fillmore?..not really sure...but it is definitely a great tribute to the Semie-made Mosrites. I'm totally happy with it. That green sparkle 50th Anny. is real nice, but $4000 is too rich for me.

I think you probably mean Firstman. Fillmore wasn't making them back then.

Re: Did you see this description of a 50th anniversary Mosrite
Well, I see somebody trashed us in the comments section. Called us "slackjawed imbeciles" and idiots. Now my feelings are hurt.
This guy calls blames the negative comments on us, calls us names, then turns around and tells the guy his price is too high.
I can think of a lot of responses to this guy, but I'm not gonna sink to his level.
Here's a transcript for those who are not registered on ebay:
Wow, I've read some of the comments you've posted...words like "illegal" being thrown around. I really urge you to visit the Mosrite Forum. I am convinced most of these comments are coming from some of the slackjawed imbeciles who populate that particular corner of the internet. I think that if you spent a full five minutes reading through the idiocy that is posted there on a daily basis, you would chuckle and nod knowingly the next time some ebay armchair wanna-be lawyer sends you a "stern warning" about this guitar. Seriously, it is worth a visit for the comedy value. mosriteforum.com On a more serious note, though, your price is a little bit high. Best of luck to you, sir.
He obviously comes here, so I know he'll read this. That's all the time he's getting from this slackjawed imbecile.

Sheesh. I wonder if he's the same fellow who wrote this:
Filmore guitars were the factory in Japan liccensed by Semie Moseley after his last fire and are completely legit. Ed Roman in Las Vegas is asserting that he has the only legal rights to the Mosrite trademark - perhaps in this era. the guitar you have here is from an earlier era. It would seem that there are 3 makers out there all claiming to be legit, Semie's wife Loretta, his ddaughter, and Ed Roman - you pick - a rose is a rose - is a rose.
Talk about revisionist history, new math and poor spelling. Maybe our little corner of the internet should require an entrance exam.

I believe this is coming from the one and only forum member ever to have his account deleted and banned from the Mosrite forum. Same grammar, same mentality.

You know, I thought that was probably the case, somebody who got thrown off of here, but I didn't say it.

Well in any case he is making us look bad. I was thinking of writing to the seller regarding the subject but I'm at a loss of what to say.

I don't know....I find it an interesting and informative place to come with a lot of people who know what they are talking about, without all of the drivel and garbage that is on other forums, and people insulting each other like a bunch of babies. It's refreshing to come here and not have to put up with any of that. All I have ever seen is politeness and respect from the people on here.
