I wish I could read the rest of the questions/answers but it seems you have to be registered? Interesting stuff never the less. My MIJ Mosrite is I think a 70's era Fillmore?..not really sure...but it is definitely a great tribute to the Semie-made Mosrites. I'm totally happy with it. That green sparkle 50th Anny. is real nice, but $4000 is too rich for me.

Well, I see somebody trashed us in the comments section. Called us "slackjawed imbeciles" and idiots. Now my feelings are hurt.

This guy calls blames the negative comments on us, calls us names, then turns around and tells the guy his price is too high.

I can think of a lot of responses to this guy, but I'm not gonna sink to his level.

Filmore guitars were the factory in Japan liccensed by Semie Moseley after his last fire and are completely legit. Ed Roman in Las Vegas is asserting that he has the only legal rights to the Mosrite trademark - perhaps in this era. the guitar you have here is from an earlier era. It would seem that there are 3 makers out there all claiming to be legit, Semie's wife Loretta, his ddaughter, and Ed Roman - you pick - a rose is a rose - is a rose.

Talk about revisionist history, new math and poor spelling. Maybe our little corner of the internet should require an entrance exam.

I don't know....I find it an interesting and informative place to come with a lot of people who know what they are talking about, without all of the drivel and garbage that is on other forums, and people insulting each other like a bunch of babies.
