Hi everyone. I'm old (60 in February), and started playing the guitar in 1962 - the first song I ever learned was either "Help Out" by Bo Diddley or "The McCoy" by the Ventures. (I'm still trying to learn them.) I currently own a '63 Gretsch Corvette, a 1964 Gibson Firebird VII, 1965 Gibson SG Standard, 1962 Gibson ES-345TDC, 1968 Gibson ES-335TD, 1959 Gibson ES-225T, 1965 Gretsch Country Gentleman (1964 specs), late-'80s Rickenbacker 325V59, and a circa-2000 Hofner 500/1 bass.
I have two brothers who also play. (Check out the Fendertones on youtube.)
I have wanted a Mosrite since I first saw the "Ventures in Space" LP, and I'm glad I found someone started this place. Thanks - long over due. I have never been able to get a handle on the Mosrite clones/forgeries (whatever you want to call them), and I look forward to finding some answers here. I'd appreciate it if someone could direct me to any threads that might exist on the topic. For now I think I'll just browse through the posts - what I've seen so far sure looks interesting and informative.
Thanks again.

2) All kidding aside, hopefully you've got all those little 'critters' insured. I've mentioned this B4, and

everyone know that, that is a "good thing" to get your instruments INSURED...........
Again, Welcome Aboard!

Welcome to the forum, RightLurker.
You're not the only old guy around here.
There is a ton of information all over this forum. You'll be busy for the next two weeks going through all the old topics to get caught up. Just about any question you have can be answered by using the search feature. Think of it as a Mosrite library.
