Thank you for the Nokie link.
A true guitar hero, a major force in melodic guitar over 5 decades, wow!
Anyone have any expeience with or thoughts on Nokie's solidbody Hitchiker guitar? It sure is pretty.

Only one I know on the forum with any experience with the Hitchhiker is Desert Surfer, however he doesn't participate on the forum anymore but is lurking the forum everyday in 'hidden' status, so maybe he'll see this and contact you off line and tell about his guitar.

Nokie's Hitchiker is his own creation,He was involved in the creation and marketed the guitars himself, about 6 or 7 tears ago. Don't know if you can still buy one from him or not.

Any particular reason he doesn't participate, anymore? Too bad, he had a lot to contribute.

I'm sure he doesn't want to discuss his personal reasons on a public forum. If you must know, send him a personal message.

Didn't mean to pry. I really don't know him, so a PM from me probably wouldn't generate a response.

I'm another in a long line of Nokie fans. He is still an amazing player but my favorite time period will always be 1965 Live in Japan. Cutting edge stuff that still holds up today He sold me on Mosrite, even though it took me 20 years to get one Now I've got Four and would love a Fith He also could make a Solid State Amp sound like a million bucks
