Any members near Chicago?

I'm just curious. I'm a member of several online car forums that have threads for "meets" in various geographical areas.

Might be nice if we could do such things with this board.

I'm not too far from Chicago. Just about two and a half hours down I-57 in beautiful Urbana, IL. I actually grew up in the city, but have been living here for a little over 11 years. I miss the restaurants and music venues, but not the traffic!

1)Twood be nice if there are a few local people who'd like to get together and play/show their "wares."

2)Not a car collector, just belong to several forums....Acura-related and am interested in local meets to see what other peoples cars are like.

I live in Bolingbrook, 30 miles west of the city, about 2 minutes off of I-55. Would be happy to do a show and tell, not much of a player though. Anyone close by is more than welcome to set up a day and try an amp in my basement, as I'm much better with an amp than a guitar. Can build or repair just about anything and have several for sale! Feel free to pm me on this.

As for cars, Corvair all the way.
