n00b in the world of Mosrite

Postby Olav » Tue Aug 04, 2009 10:06 am

Hi, newbie to everything Mosrite here. Huge fan of The MC5, always thought Fred Smith's Mosrite guitar was the coolest guitarmodel I ever saw. I'm hoping to learn lots about these guitars overhere and to maybe one day in the (hopefully) foreseeable future own a (lefty)Mosrite guitar myself. Unfortunately money still doesn't grow on trees where I live, so it'll either be a clone or it'll be a while.

Welcome to the forum.

There's a ton of information here on the forum that should keep you busy while waiting to get that Mosrite. A lefty may be a little harder to find.

Hey Olav, welcome to the forum!

It's almost like booking into "Hotel California"... once you're in, you can never leave...
Enjoy and good luck in finding a suitable Mosrite lefty.

BTW I think that your best bet would be to try and get a Japanese Mosrite lefty...(we've seen one or two on eBay a while back). Semie Moseley didn't make any lefty's himself (that I know of) but you never know with Mosrite history ;)
