Odd that it has a broken pickup ring like is described in FritzCat's score.

THIS is the one I was looking at for a while, but THIS is the one I bought. That first one (in Chatsworth) was originally priced at $460. There was another recently on ebay in Australia starting at AU$555 with a BIN of AU$700, so I think I got a heck of a deal. The quality isn't quite up there with a Mosrite, Gretsch or other American guitar but for a mid-60's Japan it's fantastic.

If you're thinking of getting the one with the broken pickup ring take a good look at the pics, I think I see some binding issues on the neck where it meets the body on the low E side.

Very nice score! I love my Combo - as 'relic-ed' as it is, it is a great-sounding and playing guitar. I'm sure you'll be pleased with this one.
