It's a pretty killer guitar. I don't I'd come close to buying it at that price, though. Now if it were a vintage Gospel......can I hear an AMEN!

AMEN! Yes, I'd buy a vintage Gospel for $2800, Especially an 80s Gospel with humbuckers!

I wouldn't go so far as to say questionable workmanship. A drop of glue would fix that loose string guide. The guide on my Excellent was loose when I got it too. More to the point, there's not an attention to detail in the setup that one would reasonable expect from a guitar in that price range.
