Japanese Gospel Guitars

Whilst in Tokyo i saw a gospel japanese reissue for 98000Y, yep the sunburst MKV one.
When were these made and for how long were they in production?
and were they black cloud?

They're Fillmore and I believe they only did a short run of them a couple years back.

Pictures, please? I never knew Fillmore made reissues of the Mark V. :P <-- Imagine that as a drooling smiley.

It doesn't have the German Carve? :shock: Did the original "Mark IV" Have a german carve?

Might be time to get your eyes checked, 101. It's got the German carve and is missing the trem arm, just like Kurt's.

Well now that I look at the upper half of the body I can see it. It isn't so easy to tell if it has it on the bottom half near the pickup switch though.

That's because it's not carved on the treble side, also like the original.
