Man, looking at their Surf Rider '65 models is making me drool again and stirring up the "M" fever
(and I just bought myself a brand new American Vintage '57 Reissue Fender Stratocaster two-tone burst yesterday :o . The pups on it are truly the holy grail Fender tone for me...representing THE Fender sound that first 'grabbed' me in the late fifties, early sixties that I've been hunting for for so many years. I thought that my Classic 50's MIM Strat solved the problem until I tried the '57 reissue...finaly got it and worth the big price tag on it. Back to Mosrites again ;) )

Yeah, with the reissue '57 (MN) and '62 (RN) the pups are identical I believe

Hey Paul,

When you get a chance could you post some photo's of your new Strat over in the 'Other Instrument section? I still have my '62 that I purchased new but rarely play. I've got a couple of parts-o-casters that I like better. So, I'd like to hear a review of your new axe.

Wow, you have an original '62 Strat…and you're the first owner too, great stuff -sunburst or other? Better hang on to it. You know Danny, wanting to avoid a repetition of kicking myself later on again and saying "I once had a…but…" I decided for once to keep my MIM Classic 50 Strat and so can now also make some detailed comparisons between the two!
I’ll post some pics later on in the "Other Instrument" section as soon as I can get my son to make a photo shoot... ;)
