I typed in the name 'MOSRITE OF KAMEOKA' in the Google search engine and got several hits but the one that got my attention was this one. If I'm following this corrctly, these guy's in the cowboy hats are playing the newly made Loretta Moseley Mosrites. Maybe someone with a better translation can clarify this.

Is that right, the price for a '63 is Yen1,150,000? That's about €8500 or way over $10K.
It'll be a while... before I'll be able to scrape that together...

As for the U-Tubes, the pearl Mark 1 is one of Loretta's, the "Ocean Blue" looks like a Super Custom '64 (Kurokumo).

I can't figure out the different SS#s having different prices.
They all seem to be the same model, either a '63 or a '65.

Olav,
that '63 would be $12,815.07 today. And with the way the dollar is going, it will be more very soon.

I may be wrong on this but, that $12K pearl white model may be one that I looked at when visiting Loretta back in Jan '02. She had one guitar left from the last batch Semie built, pearl white and beautiful, and played by Larry Collins, or so she said. Again, I may be wrong on this.
