the only thing I think a mosrite (ventures one/mark one) might have a little trouble with is playing long sustained soloing, kinda in the vain of a carlos santana based on the fact if the body is made of basswood (which wasn't always the case) and the speed frets, which if it was an issue one can always refret the guitar. also that problem was solved with the bluesbenders, 350's, and brass rail models. so again, I say people just can be ridiculous sometimes.

But you own nine of them?
Which are the three who didn't make the cut? :)

Well, most of my Mo's have been re-fretted with larger frets in which makes it easier to bend the strings
and also give you better sustain. However only 7 have Mosrite humbuckers which would be comparable
to Gibson or PRS as such. The main 2 ingredients for longer sustain is thicker fret wire and humbuckers.
I ended up selling my PRS Custom years ago to purchase another 2 Mo's when they were still affordable.
BTW, the current 2 that didn't make the cut (lack of humbuckers) are the Combo and my Celebrity-I.....

p.s.-the 6 gtrs was a typo, it's 7 ;) .
