I got a Fillmore "Ramo'ed" Mark II Deluxe Mosrite in 2003. I've used it quite a lot when playing punk rock. However, nowadays my first choice is the Ranger. But the Mark II isn't bad either, for the money (650 eur back then) it is a fun guitar. Here's a sound sample, all of the guitars were played on the Mark II on this single:

Re: About mark-II?
my brother has one of the black models, and I own a johnny model. I've compared the two and I would say the quality is about the same. I think it's comparable to other higher end japanese guitars. like a japanese fender for example.
the thing is, I totally hated the tone of the fat strat pickup, and i didnt think it sounded anything close to ramones at all. in fact I rarely would play the guitar because of how much I hated the single coil tone, until I switched it out for a minihumbucker and the tone of the guitar came alive, now it's one of my three favorite guitars to play.
on my brothers black mark ii he put in a seymour duncan JB jr in the bridge position. that pickup sounds great too, and no major mods to the guitar is needed.
