You also might want to check out a Dillion VMG-75.

'Snagged one a few years ago for $300, put another 100 in setup and it's a darned nice axe for the $.
made in Vietnam and Bigsby-oid clone tailpiece and P-90 clone-oid pups, no zero fretbut it sounds amd plays good even alongside a real Mo.

'Believe the newer ones are MIJ and have a dif (mo' betta) tailpiece and nicer in general.

And John Dillion was okay to e-talk with. Just a thought....

Good morning Spankin,
We have a member here who deals with a lot of the Japanese stuff as well as the actual vintage Mosrites. Screen name is "Artie" and he works at Back Porch Music. He is the guy that you need to talk to. You might try PM'ing him if he's not watching this thread.

I don't think you were quite awake when you wrote this. Frank, The member you're looking for is Bakeoboy. His real name is Artie and his store is Font Porch Music. (http://www.frontporchmusic.net)

Anyway, Both Artie and Ed Roman sell MIJ Mosrite guitars. Front Porch also has some that are assembled by Semie's daughter. Here's a link to a topic about the FIllmore Mosrite guitars at Front Porch Music. (I linked to page 2 because of pictures)

I can't tell you the differences between various models Fillmore offers. Maybe it is in the finish or maybe it is the quality of the wood used to build the guitars?
