I'd really appreciate some gut photos of the different Ge versions. I've been doing some research and it seems that with the few early Ge versions, Ed Sanner just used whatever transistors he could get his hands on. To my ears, some germanium Fuzzrites sound more like Nokie's fuzzbox than others. I'm curious if the ones using medium-gain TZ82 NPN transistors get "that sound" the closest.

Perhaps we should start a new thread since this one is called "Fuzzrite: Buyer Beware"
How about "Ge Fuzzrites" or something?
