Looks like he purchased his amp ( a Guild Thunder 1, that he also gave me.
) in 68-69, and the fuzz rite in 70-71 in Bend Or. I'm attempting to restore the amp.

I'd say you have a really great friend there.
Early '70s would make sense, post Bakersfield factory. Maybe put together from parts from the auction. Only question would be by who? The work looks similar to the original factory versions, but the circuit parts don't match any that I've ever seen before.

Interesting info, Thanks.
Well, what ever it is/came from, it's cool!
Never knew anything about Mosrite, and being a fan of the Ventures, this is some great info about them. Maybe I'll get to play a Ventures model Mosrite someday! I'll be keeping my eye out for one.
Just for kicks, here's a picture of the Guild Thunder 1, building a new cabinet for it, and had to get a speaker, the old cab and speaker had vanished over the years.

Here's the back, the speaker is a 12 inch Jensen 25 watt, ceramic magnet vintage.

Right now there's a Thunder 1 on eBay, but the photos are pretty bad. The two tone grille was always one of my favorites things on Guild amps.
Congrats on the rebuild. It's looking good.
