Could this be a factory finish from the 70's?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Does anyone have a value estimate?
Much Thanks in advance.

Hi poppyg!
Awesome looking Mosrite you have there!
IMHO it is a late 60's version based on the logo design.
It looks pretty standard except for the finish, knobs & pick guard,
they may be custom, mods, or a special order.
Is there a serial number between the last two frets?
If anyone has any info on the instrument, feel free to chime in...

That is unlike any factory finish I have ever seen. Looks like a refin on a 65 or 66 guitar. My best guess.

Actually it looks like a 67 or 68 to me with no Ventures logo and sharp cut at the horn.

-- Possibly a Marty Bell paint job?
The gangster looks so frightening, with his luger in his hand
When he gets home to his children, he's a family man
But when it comes to the nitty-gritty, he can shove in his knife
Yes he really looks quite religious, he's been an outlaw all his life
