Has anyone seen a Mosrite pedal steel guitar. I recently acquired one and am looking for any information I can find. Having trouble uploading pictures of it.

Welcome. I've never seen one. It would be great to see various photos to study it up close. If you have Photobucket or some other photo sharing site you can upload your images there and then post links in your forum post.

Got this word today on Dana Moseley's facebook page.

Dana Moseley
To answer all the questions concerning this beautiful vintage steel. Yes! This is authentic, built by my father, Semie Moseley, for Barbara Mandrell. I verified this with Barbara Today. Mosrite Forever.

So, that leads me to think that the one you got actually belonged to Barbara Mandrell as one point. Is that right? I'd also love to hear the story of how you happened to own this piece. Any other information such as dimensions, operation, etc. would be cool as well.

You can see what Dana Moseley had to say about it. If you open up the comments you will find out what other people are saying about it. I don't have a lot of details about it's history before I got it. Wish I did. I purchased it from a guy in Florida. He said that he had owned it for about 10 years. He claimed he had received it from a woman, who purchased it at a charity auction for a little over $10,000. Neither of them were able to verify its authenticity. I just thought it was neat. It was later that I found the video of Barbara Mandrell actually playing it. When I received it it came without legs. After I actually tried to put it together, it became obvious that the pedal rack was not correct for the guitar. I am in the process of building a new pedal rack for it now. Will probably take a couple of months, but should be playing again in short order. All of the main part of the steel seems to be completely original. Whatever pictures you need, just let me know, and I can take them.

I was able to get in contact with Barbara Mandrell and she graciously verified that this steel was hand made by Semie Moseley for her. And she did play it on The Melody Ranch.

That's surprising that it's the very same instrument. I've never heard of a Mosrite Pedal Steel Instrument either (maybe aside from the crutch instrument Semie made for Barbara later,) I guess Semie only built this one and maybe a few others. Here, I've linked some of the images to this thread:
