Mosrite Pickups

So I just acquired a vintage 74' mosrite 350 mono. It has some technical issues and I am curious if anyone has had similar experiences. The main thing is the pickups aren't balanced very well. They are humbuckers and their are two pole pieces per string. Even when the treble side is greatly reduced in height, the b and e strings tend to be louder and more pronounced than the other strings. I can't seem to balance the b and e strings with the others very well. Its the same with both pickups too. Any advice? It doesn't look like anyone makes mosrite humbuckers anymore either.

These guys make Mosrite-like humbuckers, look at XR-2000 in the pickup section.

And Seymour Duncan will wind a Mo-sound pickup for you, including on the existing bobbins if you want.
