I'm doing a little research and am trying to track down a photo of Roy Nichols' Mosrite Doubleneck. There are two pics of Roy playing it that I've found online but both just show the necks, not the body and I'm trying to find a pic of the whole guitar. Roy was playing it c.1959-1960 when he was in Wynn Stewarts band. I know there has to be a pic of it out there somewhere and if anyone knows where I can find one, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,
Elisha

I've seen photos of his doubleneck as it looks today but have never seen a period photo of him playing it. It was offered for sale a number of years ago on Ebay.

Thanks Terry. I've seen pictures of it in it's current condition, just trying to track down a photo of it before the re-finish. I'm really curious whet the pickguards looked like. know there's a pic out there out there somewhere. Ralph Mooney was the steel player in Wynn Stewarts band at the time and I might try the steel guitar forum to see if anyone has a picture of Ralph where you can see Roy's guitar.

The only ones that I've seen are the ones I scanned for Robbie, and yes, they only show the necks. I've never seen a full shot of this one.

Hey Deke,
I've seen those ones. I just know someone has a picture where you can see the whole thing. They probably don't even know it. I posted about it on the Steel Guitar forum, hoping someone there might have a shot of Ralph Mooney where you can see Roy's guitar. I might try contacting Wynn Stewarts family if I can track them down.
Plus, as the story goes, the guitar got damaged when he fell off of a horse while playing it during a photo shoot so it would seem that those could exist somewhere.
