I've been a lurker for years now and as of yesterday, i'm finally an owner!!
the pots date to august 1965. the pickups don't have the ®.
i eat, drink & sleep (and play) OLD country... and always wanted a piece of bakersfield (nashville west!)

The guitar is pretty nice too. I don't know much when it comes to the hallow bodies, but that dark burst paint job looks good.

yeah i agree. i think that cherryburst is a good color for the combos.
i'm mostly an acoustic rhythm player.. so the hollowbody feels good to me.

previously i've had: telecasters / (real) hagstroms / a '66 jaguar / ES-335 .. i shoulda just bought a mosrite first - i've wanted one for sooo long.. since i saw joe maphis and Phil Baugh playing them...

the first time i ever heard of a Mosrite was on the back of one of my LOVE album (Forever Changes from 1967 maybe?). it said "LOVE plays Mosrite Guitars." Made me wonder.. what's a Mosrite? If Love played 'em they must be cool!

this was around 1981 when i was in high school.

Nice guitar, good score.

Also a Combo fan, in this opinion it's every bit as cool as a Mk I, and different...

...but still a Mosrite.

and also figured out that Buck Trent played the exact same model & color (when he wasn't playing electric banjo) on the Porter Wagoner TV Show in the 60's..
