Early 70's Mark 1 headstocks

I can't seem to find a definitive answer to this one and maybe some of you Mosrite Mavens could clue me in.
After the Ventures disappeared from the headstock, and shortly later Mosrite was temporarily history, Semie made Model (or Mark) 1 guitars again, but this time the headstocks bore either: 1. Mosrite of California (USA) BY MOSELEY, or 2. Mosrite of California (USA) BY SEMIE MOSELEY. Do the two different headstock markings indicate any particular time frames? Also I've noted some of these guitars have natural finish headstocks, some are bursted, as is the neck. Is this random or indicate particular production runs?
Thanks Gang!
