Some pictures from my visit to Front Porch Music:

This one really caught my eye. I'd love to know the story behind it. It looks to be pre-Ventures model, and looks a lot more like an upside-down Stratocaster than the Ventures model design.

Nice! I'm seeing all sorts of Mosrites here. Bluesbender, 350, Joe Maphis model, Mel-O-Bar, Combo, Celebrity, A 63 Sidejack model and even an ACOUSTIC guitar?! I have NEVER seen a Mosrite acoustic on ebay, Come to think of it!

Edit: Check out the Mark II conversion model in the sixth picture between the sunburst and red Mosrites in picture #6. it has a Mark V body with a Mark II SLAB Body Tremolo! What's the story behind this particular guitar?
1966 Ventures II (German Carved, B670.)
1970s "Not a Blues Bender" Bodies: 2.
1976 Brass Rail Deluxe #10.
2013 Fender Pawn Shop Bass VI.

I'm not knowledgeable enough about Mosrite guitars to know all of the ones Eddy built  I'll take a few guesses though and I'll PM you.

I'm gonna say the light brown sunburst bass, on the far right in the third photo from the top,

the sunburst guitar in the tenth photo down, second from the left (next to the white twelve string), above the poster of Semi,

...and the sunburst in the middle in the bottom photo.

I hope you have good security there, Artie. That's not a music store, it's a museum. ;)

Hey Mel, thanks for taking us on a fine 'museum tour' at Front Porch!
BTW, you may want to check out what’s been said about this Mosrite shape in the "Elaine Frizzell" thread
(in the Mosrite Guitars & Basses Vintage USA section).
Scroll down past halfway and compare with the shape of the guitar in the pic Ed Elliot posted there... ;) .......> viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1171&start=20

Cheers,
Paul
