From many of the photo's I've seen of Semie taken during the late 70's early 80's when he wore his hair in the Afro Do, he has a strong resemblance to Lionel Richie from The Commodores.

Poor Semie; he obviously loved being in front of a camera, yet I have to think he was sometimes unlucky in how he was photographed.

I've heard that he was a very bad business man who left a lot of his suppliers high and dry. For a guy who claimed to have been a devout Christian, I find that disturbing. I got this from a source who knew him personally. Anyone know of this? Just askin', not hatin'.

The simplest way to learn about Semie is spend some time reviewing threads on this website. There is a ton of information here about the man.
