I signed up a while back, but I am just now getting around to really checking this site out. I usually frequent SurfGuitar 101, and it looks like there are a few others here that do also. I own a 68 Mosrite mk 1 sunburst guitar, and it is the best guitar in the world as far as I'm concerned. I'm really into surf music, right now, and I'm starting up a surf band with my dad, just for fun. My only delimna is whether I or not ill be on the drums or on my Mosrite. I play through a 65 Fender Bassman (not reissue) and a Peavey Valverb reverb unit, I have considered picking up a fender reverb, but the Peavey has such a nice wet sound to it. Anyways I wanted to introduce my self.

I know... I know... It should be a no brainer right, but I just picked up a new set of Gretsch drums, and A-Zildjians.

Wonderfull, Nothing better in my mind than a guitarist that can show a drummer how to play drums.

Y'now I've played drums myself years ago and to this day when I hear a song I like, I still play 'air drums' instead of guitar.
In the blood I guess.
