Hello From Philly
Glad to be here. I am a musician from Philadelphia and love all kind of guitars. I am a member of both the TDPR and Gretsch Talk forums under the same handle. I hop to learn more about the legacy and history of Mosrite guitars from some of the experienced people here.

Well I play mostly rock but I also spent time in a 60's influenced garage band, country cover band, and an acoustic duo. Currently I am in 2 bands. The Absinthe Drinkers (check out our website and hear how we sound. Just so we a clear I am not the guitar player on the CD. I replaced him) is the original music band and the other is a roots/Americana band (still in search of a name) so I have most of my basics covered musically.

Greetings and welcome to the forum! You're among friends if you're a fan of Mosrite guitars. Looks like you have a Hallmark 60 Custom (like many of us, myself included) - what color and how do you like it?

Hey! Welcome to the Mosrite Forum. It's great to see you here! You'll have to post pictures of your new Hallmark so everyone here can see it as well. I'm glad you're diggin' it!

Re: Hello From Philly
Well here you go

Was going to get the Sunset Sparkle becuase of the green (I am in a band called The Absinthe Drinkers) so it would be a visual plus but alas they were out so I went with my back up, Pearl White. I still have my videotape of "Beloved Invaders" and the Ventures are decked out in matching white Mosrites so that is what I got. Great guitar, played great right out of the box. Did not have to do any adjustments or anything. I am going to re-string with 10-52 becuase I like the tone of heavy bottom strings.
And I am trying to master the live version of "Bulldog" from the "Live In Japan 1965" album where Nookie plays the solo from behind the bridge.
