Hey Gang!
I'm a new member here, my name is Erick. I'm an old surf guitar nerd and guitar repairman living in tropical Southeastern Ohio. Nothing but concrete waves here.....
My wife and I play (mostly to our pets and son) in a local surf trio, the Saturn Missile Batteries. She is actually the Mosrite owner with a sweet 70's model 300 bass. I'm in the beginning stages of a Celebrity restoration and will likely be asking the occasional tech related question here and there. I'm a vintage guitar dork in general, feel free to ask me the odd question, I might just know the answer!

Welcome to the forum, Erick. Lots of Mosrite knowledge for you to tap into here - in addition to some expert luthiers and excellent amateur builders and refinishers. What kind of gear do you have, besides the Mosrite?

Welcome Erick. Never done any restoration projects myself but it sound like fun what you're doing. Always enjoy reading and looking at our very own members' guitar projects and builds here...must be quite a rewarding feeling when you get to the point of reaching that goal you were aiming at.
Your wife's interesting Bass is not the usual Mosrite model we get to see. Thanks for the pictures (more are always welcome of course!)
Hey, maybe she would want to consider signing up here!

I agree, there is a huge amount of excellent geek-level info on this forum.
The main rig is an 18 watt Burris RB. It's an all tube job with built in trem and reverb, usually through a 2x12. I also own a few of the American and British standards but am becoming increasingly lazy and don't enjoy dragging my heavy Bassman's and Marshall's around as much as I used to. My main guitars are a hand built Strat and a Maestro equipped SG Junior from the 60's. I'll post some shots sometime!

Welcome to the forum! I can definitely relate - my cats and son are the primary audience for my surf guitar playing these days!
