Truss rod.

Postby cliff » Sun Feb 14, 2010 3:56 am

Thanks for al the help with my truss rod, I haven't had a go yet but will post as soon as I've looked into it. This is the first forum I've joined, you have all been so helpful. I have always loved the sound and look of these guitars and I'm over the moon that I now have one. I have had most guitars over the years, now retired with my wife and living in Spain. My son found the Combo at a dealer near him in England, he sent photos of it via email. I couldn't pass on the chance to have one so told him to go for it. He brought it over here last year in time for my birthday. Thanks again for all your help. :D

Combo

Hi, hope everyone is doing ok. Just wanted to update you on the truss rod on my combo. I carn't see alot, it looks like a screw but I'm going to leave it for now. The sound just blows me away and they are so easy to play, I've adjusted the bridge high E still rubs a little on the twelve fret but I can live with that. On another note does anyone know why some Joe Maphis models say Model 1 and others don't? Thanks again for all your help. Cliff.
