I would like to Welcome you to the Forum as well...
You must have quite a versatile playing style... between
Pedal Steel, Banjo, Guitar and ?

I'm sorry to hear about your Forced Loss however I'm thrilled to hear about your new Girly.
Enjoy...

hey jim,
i'm near woodstock in the catskill preserve area. was hoping you might be closer....but that's another story....

jnslobaugh,
thanks. i'm glad you picked up on that. and yes it's true. i abandoned the guitar in pursuit of first the banjo and then the pedal steel(with a bit of fiddle too). all three have had an incredible effect on my playing style for the guitar. i now just use fingerpicks and do alot of "double stop" style playing(that is, if you don't know, playing two string combos at once, even for melodies). i'm actually quite surprised at how things are shaping up on guitar now. i feel like i'm a better player than i ever was because of these disparate influences.

as far as i know. as far as ed roman told me although the pup toggle switch wasn't working when i recieved it so they sent me a new one. i haven't installed it yet as i just got it yesterday.

and the weird synchronicity keeps a comin' as my squier strat's tremolo unit cracked yesterday and fell apart (the part the springs attach to....who the heck ever thought to make one of these out of plastic in the first place?) makes me appreciate this mosrite even more.
