Haha, no my next 60C is gonna be a custom finish. I'm already planting the seeds with the wife.....no, wait, that sounded bad. I mean I'm already dropping hints that another 60C is in my plans.

I just received last friday this beautiful guitar (3 days after my order).

Here is my review:

The 2 First songs played: Surf Rider and The 2000 pound bee (the Ventures)

Sound: 9/10
Exactly what I wanted, the mid 60's surf sound. I also asked mister Shade if the stock PU handle Fuzz, he told me absolutely, I can say now that my guitar sound very good with or without Fuzz!! the PU are versatiles and very hot.

overall impression: 10
The sound and look is more than I was expecting. I'm impressed... It kick asses and I'm more than happy of my purchase.

craftmanship: 9
Very well build, the finish is so nice I can stop looking at it!! everything look reliable (electronics, PU, tuners, etc).

This is where it make a big difference, Mister Bob Shade is a Professional and answered all my questions (technical or not) and he is truly a gentleman. He is a reliable businessman, as I said I received the guitar 3 days after ordering (unbelievable).

Same here. I went back and forth between the fire and sunset sparkle many times. I ultimately decided on sunset sparkle simply because I already have a red guitar (Strat) and have never had a green guitar before. Real scientific, huh?
