Well, they are now known as BBE Technologies. But basically, they are a company that has been around
since the mid 80s located in California and they are known for creating the "Sonic Maximizer," which
basically brings back the "presence' of tone for a live application. But they are involved in a lot of
technical advances in sound whether it is "Live" or "recorded" in a Studio.
Don't know exactly when, but BBE bought G&L Guitars sometime shortly after Leo had passed.
