Hi everyone, they just showed the Peter Bogdanovitch film here on the BBC .. it went on for hours !
But another lovely example of keeping the band together, like The Ventures and the Ramones . I found myself re-discovering that Rickenbacker sound again.
The jangle of guitars, rather than the twang
That song American Girl is such a show opener .
What was it about Gainsville Florida ? Coincidentally , I'd just got through reading the book by Don Felder who comes from there too.
Like Bakersfield , just a load of musicians came out of Gainsville ... awesome .
You just have to get over the thing that he sounds a bit like Bob Dylan ... but it turns out to be a bonus
