I did some googling using the Japanese symbols for "The Ventures" and got some interesting results. Unfortunately I cannot copy and paste the Japanese translation here to show you (technically not possible; the forum system won't accept foreign symbols etc.)
Here is a nice pic from what must be 1965 when The Ventures were touring Japan and their Fender piggy backs were failing because of the Japanese voltage difference and they had to switch to Guyatone amps:

I love that shot...I like the way they mic'ed the amps. My favorite Ventures shot is the one on the cover "From The Vaults" 1 the blue suits, combos and the Mosrite amps for me it's the coolest.

One would think that it would be different. One of the Ventures did some time in the army in Germany, and its not 60 cycles in Europe, I think its like 120 or some thing like that. Europe ant the far east are different than us. Good pic.

Cool idea using cinder blocks behind the blonde amp to tilt it back. I need to carry around a couple of them for gigs.

Woodchuck, please translate.

This photo and another one from a different angle are on the jacket cover of "The Ventures Onstage" .......vinyl .........
I like the concert photos, and the clips ......always amazed at how stonefaced Nokie appears, while his fingers are flying all over the neck with precision accuracy......

Although Nokie did not have much 'Showmanship,' he sure as heck made up for it in his talent with his Mosrite

Actually, 220 volts and 50 cycles...and in Holland we have a heck lot more 'bi-cycles' too...

BTW, here are two Google pages; one for "THE VENTURES" and one for "MOSRITE" to get you started in Japanese and hopefully making some happy new discoveries!

End of Japanese lesson. "Arigatou" (thanks!) …OK that's about all I know in Japanese

I LIKE THAT PAUL!!!.............I might 'copy' the one that says 'Mosrite' in Japanese,
and make a special front License Plate for my Japanese Twin Turbo..................
That will get people to ask me questions about 'What the heck does that say?'..
