Converting MP4 video to DVD

I bought a HD video camcorder and now I find it saves in MP4. Nothing I have on my computer will convert it to a DVD format to play on the TV. What do I need to get?? I can play the MP4 format but that is it.

Apparently there is free software downloads online. I had a similar issue with converting cassette tapes to CD. I research and found free download called Audacity. Man, it works great.

Thanks Danny but I have already tried that rout. So far I have downloaded to many different ones to find it won't do it or I have to pay upfront to get what I may need. I need to know what will work before I dish out the cash.
